I sought to make the two pieces both distinct and intertwined, evoking a sense of movement while remaining still. The form subtly activates the space, creating a quiet sense of motion.
Creating process
Being new to furniture design and not having much experience with sketching, I decided to start with materials I felt comfortable with—things I could connect with physically. I didn’t approach it as designing a chair but instead let the form come together naturally. Over time, it grew into something more expressive.
